Most tourists are here for shopping or on business and will visit Sentosa, Chinatown, Little India, the Zoo, Jurong Bird Park, the Merlion and Orchard Road, and do lots of shopping, eating and sightseeing. Likewise most Singaporeans. Most people are not aware of Surprising Singapore’s natural treasures such as its birds, mammals, reptiles, fish, insects, rainforests, coral reefs, mangrove swamps and islands. Of the many wonders of nature, birds are perhaps the most eye-catching and appealing, and the class of animals most people can associate with. I hope to share with you some of the joy and fun watching birds can bring to everyone.
